Who we are

The Dukes is a unique theatre and cultural centre based in Lancaster and delivering creative programmes throughout Lancashire. We exist to produce extraordinary theatre and act as a leading resource for film and digital arts, dance, music and the performing arts. The Creative Learning Centre at The Dukes is dedicated to producing high quality learning provision for primary, secondary and SEN schools.

What we do

The Dukes provide bespoke workshops, training and resources to support and enhance all key stages of the curriculum including: CPD / INSET training days Creative Lounge; Teachers Network Supporting schools with Arts Awards / Arts Mark Status Career days / work placement schemes Creative school projects, festivals and educational conferences Professional productions with supporting educational resources
