Who we are
A well established charity based in Warrington, Cheshire delivering a varied visual and performing arts programme for children, young people, families and older adults within the community and schools. Using the power of sport and the Warrington Wolves badge to promote health and well being whilst making the arts more accessible to a wider audience.
What we do
We deliver a high quality & varied programme of visual & performing arts for children, young people, schools, community groups & older adults. Schools Programme; curriculum/ afterschool dance workshops, dance CPD for teachers, SEN curriculum support, stand alone arts/ heritage projects, arts awards. Community; Disability dance, music & art classes, holiday activities, older peoples dance, seated exercises classes within care homes, performance opportunities, support for artists, volunteer op
Half term Arts Award dance camp: 19th, 20t and 21st February 10am-3pm, £30/ person. Dance workshops and Discover arts awards delivery.
Dance studio, classrooms, i-mac suite, stadium tours, educational visits, pitch performances, site specific performances.
CPD for Staff
Dance CPD for primary school teachers; looking at the fundamentals of dance using Laban's basic principles. How to create dance lessons, schemes of work & choreography relating to theme/curriculum topic with emphasis on cross curricular work.
Online schools heritage resource; 6 lesson packs – including National Curriculum ‘I can’ statements, extra activity ideas, pictures, video intro’s and blank lesson plan
